Our Pesto Sauce Recipe

Our take on this classic sauce that never fails to deliver goodness

⁠⁠We're big fans of the simple pesto recipe with fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and salt & pepper. ⁠⁠

2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed⁠⁠
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese ⁠⁠
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil⁠⁠
1/3 cup pine nuts ⁠⁠
2 garlic cloves, minced ⁠⁠
1/4 teaspoon salt, more to taste⁠⁠
1/2 teaspoon salt & ground black pepper ⁠⁠
1. Pulse basil and pine nuts in a food processor.⁠⁠
2. Add the garlic and Parmesan cheese.⁠⁠
3. While the food processor is running, slowly and carefully add the olive oil in a steady small stream (that will help the paste emulsify and help avoid the olive oil separation).⁠⁠
4. Stir in salt and ground black pepper, and add more to taste. Enjoy!⁠⁠
